SALINA, Okla. – Authorities are searching for a missing woman at an Oklahoma lake.

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is searching for a missing woman in Lake Hudson.

Officers were called to a man yelling for help at Snowdale State Park around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

KJRH reports 22-year-old Kari Ogden tried to get out of a boat on the lake to swim but strong currents pushed the boat away from her.

A man jumped into the water to try and save her but was not able to get to her before she went under the water.

Search crews are using GPS to create a grid on the lake, along with dive teams searching the lake.
