OKLAHOMA CITY – The holidays are always a busy time of the year.

Many Oklahomans have spent the last month decorating their homes, sending out Christmas cards and buying presents for loved ones.

However, police say thieves are also on the move.

On Dec. 5, officers were called to a home in the 9500 block of S.W. 35th Terrace after learning that someone stole a check out of the victim’s mailbox.

According to the police report, the victim checked her bank account and realized that someone else was spending her money in Shawnee. She also noticed that the amount  listed on the check was pending, but it wasn’t going to the person she intended.

At that point, the victim says she checked her security camera and spotted a black Chevy pickup truck with dual pipes and a silver tool box in the bed pull up to her house. On the video, she saw a woman with brown hair grab the check from the mailbox.
