OKLAHOMA CITY– Metro residents may be experiencing low water pressures due to a line repair on Tuesday night.

Line maintenance crews will repair a leaking valve on a 20-inch main this evening and overnight. Residents who live in the area of W. Britton to NW 39th St. and from May Ave. to MacArthur may notice low water pressure.

City officials say this is a good time to be sure landscape irrigation systems are turned off to prevent broken lines, loss of water, and black ice on the streets.

If necessary, Oklahoma City Street crews will salt the area around the valve repaid near the PCAA athletic fields on W. Britton Rd.

The valve repair is expected to be completed in the early morning hours Wednesday.
