Ford is recalling more than 330,000 vehicles over a potential problem with the steering shaft.

The recall covers 2005 through 2011 models of the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars.

There’s a potential for corrosion to the steering shaft, which could cause a loss of steering.

Dealers will inspect the cars and determine if repairs are needed.

The recall spans 22 states and the District of Columbia.

Oklahoma is not one of the states on the list but owners here can request inspections and repairs at dealers just in case.
