Oklahoma City police have arrested the man wanted for the shooting at the drive-thru window of the Okie Food Store.

Ronald Hastings was arrested after a short foot chase with police who made the arrest at his home. Hastings is being transported to the Oklahoma City Police Department.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a 3-year-old child was hurt when someone opened fire at an Oklahoma store.

On Wednesday, officers and paramedics were called to the Okie Food Store, located in the 10600 block of N. Western Ave.

Witnesses told police that an alleged suspect stopped at the store’s drive-thru window and placed an order.

However, the clerk said he believed the man was intoxicated and refused to serve him.

When the alleged suspect wouldn’t take his money back from the clerk, the clerk told officers that he threw it at the man and closed the window.

According to the arrest affidavit, the alleged suspect picked up his money before pulling out a gun.

Authorities say the man fired one round into the drive-thru window.

Fortunately, no one was hit by the bullet.

However, a 3-year-old boy had to be treated for injuries to his nose, left eye and both hands after he was hit by flying glass.

So far, no arrests have been made.
