WASHINGTON – A former Oklahoma solider who is serving time for leaking national secrets is reportedly being threatened with indefinite solitary confinement.

A website devoted to helping Chelsea Manning alleges that she is facing a hearing next week following an incident at a prison mess hall.

It says she is facing punishment for having certain reading material in her possession.

However, the U.S. disciplinary barracks has not commented on the allegations.

A petition has been launched asking that the charges be dropped and requesting that the hearing be open to the public.

Manning is currently serving a 35-year prison sentence for leaking thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks.
