Two patients treated at Lake Thunderbird after boat capsizes, no serious injuries

NORMAN, Okla. – Emergency crews were called to a popular Oklahoma lake on Friday on a possible drowning.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., officials were called to the Little River Marina at Lake Thunderbird on a possible drowning after a boat capsized.

Authorities were able to find and treat two patients at the scene.

Emergency crews say no one drowned and the two patients did not need to be transferred to a hospital.
