UPDATE: We’re learning more about a deadly home invasion that occurred on the city’s southwest side on Thursday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., police were called to a shooting in the 3400 block of S.W. 22nd St.
When officers arrived, they found two people suffering with gunshot wounds.
Investigators learned that 41-year-old Jerry Jamison was at his home when 22-year-old David Cox knocked on the door.
When Jamison opened the door to let him inside, police say Cox and 21-year-old Russell Ermeling walked into the house.
Authorities say Ermeling pulled out a gun and the alleged suspects demanded money.
At some point during the robbery, Jamison and Cox were both shot.
Ermeling fled the scene before police arrived.
Jamison, was pronounced dead at an area hospital, and Cox is recovering.
Ermeling turned himself in to the Tecumseh Police Department and has been arrested on one count of first-degree murder.
Police say a third suspect, who has not been identified, is still on the loose.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Authorities say an attempted home invasion ended in a shooting at a southwest Oklahoma City home on Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, officers were called to the 3400 block of S.W. 22nd St. on reported shooting.
Initially, authorities believed two people were shot following a 911 call.
Officials with the Oklahoma City Police Department say it all started as an attempted home invasion by two alleged suspects.
Authorities say one of the victims inside the house was shot and died en route to a nearby hospital.
Another person inside the home grabbed a gun and shot one of the alleged suspects.
That suspect was also taken to a nearby hospital.
No word on that suspect's condition at this time.
Another suspect is still on the loose.
