OKLAHOMA CITY - Despite Tuesday night's storms, the number of people without electricity continues to drop.

Recent reports show just under 14,000 OG&E customers across the state are without power.

However, many have been without electricity for over a week.

The majority of these customers are in the greater Oklahoma City metro.

Tuesday night the town of Washington was hit with straight line winds that blew through the town and knocked down power lines and trees.

Officials said they are hoping to get most of the power restored by Thursday.

However, if you don't have power OG&E wants to hear from you.

Just to verify they are aware of the outage call (405) 272-9595 if you are in Oklahoma City.

If you are without power and outside of the Oklahoma City area call 1-800-522-6870.
