PITTSBURG, Texas (KLTV) – A review site of a restaurant in Texas got a makeover after people across the country heard about a gay couple’s experience at the business.

The men went to eat at Big Earl’s Restaurant for breakfast, enjoyed the food and paid for their meals before hearing something that turned their experience around.

The couple says the waitress told them, “We don’t serve fags here.”

Collin Dewbettry told KLTV, the waitress also said, “Here at Big Earl’s, we like for men to act like men and for ladies to act like ladies, so we want you to never return.”

The phrase is actually posted on a sign inside the restaurant.

KLTV says ‘Big Earl’ claimed it was the couple’s behavior, especially touching of legs, that caused the commotion.

He told KLTV, “I didn’t go over there to inspect to see what he was rubbing. That’s just not appropriate in a family restaurant that has a sign on the front door that we just don’t do that here.”

He says that behavior is inappropriate for any couple to display in public.

Following the incident, the company’s Yelp page has received a bit of a makeover, claiming it is actually a gay bar.

It’s similar to what happened to Gary’s Chicaros restaurant in Enid.
