OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City man is charged with murder for allegedly shooting another man outside a busy metro business.

The deadly shooting took place exactly one week ago in the Target parking lot near Memorial and Penn.

Friday prosecutors charged 57-year-old David Blowbaum with the crime.

Bloebaum is being held without bond in the county jail.

According to the criminal charges, the 57-year-old admitted he pulled the trigger.

Investigators believe the shooting may have started with a case of road rage.

"I can't grasp that this could happen over something like that," the victim's sister, Laura Yousif, said.

It appears a run-in with a total stranger on the Kilpatrick Turnpike turned deadly after prosecutors said Bloebaum pursued 28-year-old Jason Yousif into the parking lot and opened fire, shooting the victim multiple times.

Court records filed in the case claim Bloebaum "made a voluntary statement he in fact shot the victim."

Surveillance video also reportedly shows "the victim Yousif attempting to flee the scene, only to fall a short distance away after being shot."

Laura said, "That guy's life was not in danger. My brother was not a threat. How can someone be a threat when their back is to you?"

Police did recover a knife on scene that they initially suspected may have belonged to the victim.

We went to the suspect's home but no one answered.

Among other family, Yousif leaves behind a 3-year-old son.

His sister is heartbroken over the death but also happy murder charges have been filed against the accused gunman.

"We were thrilled to say the least. Obviously we want this guy held accountable," Laura Yousif said.

In addition to the charge of first-degree murder, Bloebaum also faces two weapons charges.

Prosecutors said he had two different handguns with him at the time of the shooting.
