Routine traffic stop turns into manhunt in NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY- A routine traffic stop turns into a manhunt in northwest Oklahoma City.

It started when police pulled over a vehicle on Hefner Parkway near 63rd.

Police say one person took off running and another person was detained by police.

A woman who spoke to KFOR says her son gave the suspect a ride to another location.  She says he didn’t know the man was running from police.

Officers say they are still looking for the man who ran from them.
