OKLAHOMA CITY – Thunder all-star point guard Russell Westbrook has injured his right hand in the 2nd quarter of Thursday night’s NBA game between Oklahoma City and the L.A. Clippers in California.

Westbrook was driving to the basket with 6:00 left in the first half when he appeared to catch his right hand in the jersey of teammate Kendrick Perkins.

After another possession, Westbrook left the court and as he headed to the Thunder locker room, he had to be restrained after a fan began yelling at him from the stands.

No report on the exact nature of the injury or when Westbrook will return to the game.
