“Saturday Night Live” has a new voice

NEW YORK, New York –  “Saturday Night Live” has a new man behind the microphone.

Darrell Hammond, who is a show alum, will return to ‘SNL’ as the announcer when the show kicks off its 40th season on Sept. 27.

Hammond will replace legendary announcer Don Pardo, who died in August.

Chris Pratt will be the first host of the 40th season of ‘SNL’.
