OKLAHOMA CITY – Forbes Magazine has released its list of the world’s billionaires.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates tops the list as the world’s richest person, a title he has held for 16 of the last 21 years.
However, Oklahomans were also represented on the list.
The founder of Continental Resources, Harold Hamm, comes in at number 96.
Last year, Forbes listed his net worth at $14.6 billion. This year, his net worth dropped to $12.2 billion.
Hamm made headlines this year for his pricey divorce. He reportedly had to pay his ex-wife Sue Ann Arnall nearly $1 billion.
The head of Kaiser-Francis Oil, Tulsa’s George Kaiser, came in at number 142 with a worth of $9 billion.
Hobby Lobby CEO David Green is number 246 on the list with an estimated worth of $6 billion.
Also, the owners of Love’s Travel Stops, Tom and Judy Love, came in at number 418 as they are worth about $4 billion.
Rounding out the Oklahomans on the list, Charles Schusterman’s widow, Lynn, is worth $3.7 billion. She came in at 462.
