WASHINGTON—While employees across the country are dealing with issues related to sequestration, those cuts are about to take hold at the White House.

West Wing administrators say they’ve finalized furloughs and pay cut plans for all 468 White House employees.

The cuts, which began today, require everyone to take an unpaid day off or a pay cut equivalent to one day’s pay.

Commissioned officers are the only exceptions to the new rule.

No word on how many days White House employees will be furloughed before the end of the fiscal year.
