Sergeant deputy befriends, saves adorable fawn

MADISON COUNTY, Ill. — An Illinois man is being praised for saving a baby deer.

Sgt. Presson allegedly found the fawn hiding in the rose bushes in front of a statue near the Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt. Presson showed the fawn some love until his new friend was arranged to go to an animal sanctuary.
