Update: Silver Alert canceled after missing Oklahoma man found in Colorado

PONCA CITY, Okla. – A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Ponca City, Okla. man after he was found in Colorado.

Police say Marcellus Lambert, 78, was found in Trinidad, Colo. after a minor traffic accident.

Police officers in Colorado ran a check of the vehicle and found that it was connected to the Silver Alert issued by Ponca City Police.

According to police, Lambert had no injuries in that accident.

Lambert’s family in Colorado will make arrangements for his return to Ponca City to be reunited with his wife.

A Silver Alert was issued on Lambert after he left his house Saturday midday in the couple’s vehicle.

PONCA CITY, Okla. – Authorities in Ponca City are searching for a man who was last seen Saturday afternoon.

Officials have issued a silver alert for 78-year-old Marcellus Lambert.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue leather jacket, a maroon shirt, black jeans, black shoes and a brown hat.

Lambert was last seen in the 1500 block of Hudson in Ponca City around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.

He may be driving a 2013 Buick Century four-door vehicle with Oklahoma plate “955JQX.”

Authorities say Lambert suffers from dementia and has been off his medication.

When he left the home in Ponca City, he took a rifle and a revolver with him.

Police say Lambert has a cousin that lives in El Reno and a brother who lives in Oklahoma City, so he may be headed to the central part of the state.

He also goes by the first name “Mark.”
