BOSTON – As thousands of runners head to the finish line of the Boston Marathon, many will be thinking about the events surrounding last year’s race.

It’s been a little more than a year when two bombs went off near the finish line of the marathon.

The blasts killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

A massive manhunt for the culprits shut down the city and an officer was killed after being confronted by the alleged suspects.

Now, a pair of popular performers have changed one of their iconic songs to be used as a tribute to the victims and the survivors.

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith teamed up with a children’s choir to dedicate ‘Dream On’ to the Boston Marathon.
