Six arrested for selling drugs around children

GUTHRIE, Okla. — The Guthrie Police department arrested six people Thursday for selling drugs at the 1900 block of W. Warner.

Officers found prescription drugs, methamphetamine, marijuana and synthetic marijuana while searching the home.

Bobby Lee Walker, 36, Kelly Dawn Sherwan, 37, David Lee Welch, 39, Nicholas Brandon Hafele, 27, Natasha Tancy Hafele, 28, and an unnamed juvenile were arrested on 6 counts of drug-related charges, including Possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) within 1,000 feet of a school or park, or in the presence of a child under 12.

The Department of Human Services assisted in placing the juvenile children that were living inside the home.
