Slideshow: Thousands turn out for Red Earth Festival

OKLAHOMA CITY– Thousands of admirers of Native American art and culture came out to the 29th annual Red Earth Festival in Oklahoma City.

The grand entry was just one exciting part of one of Oklahoma City’s best events.

Visitors to Red Earth got to see some of the elite Native American dancers.

Additionally, beautiful paintings, stunning jewelry, ceramics, blankets, baskets and carvings can be found for sale at the Red Earth Festival.

Tourists from Asia and Europe were fascinated by the sights, sounds and rich culture of Native America.

The 29th annual Red Earth Festival continues through Sunday at the Cox Convention Center.

Tickets are available for $11 dollars for adults.

Entry is free to children under 18.
