Wednesday kicks off Starbucks' new coffee delivery service.

How much is it worth to you to not have to leave your chair for your favorite cup of Starbucks?

The convenience will cost you more than your cup of coffee, with a delivery fee of $5.99 per order - plus a tip.

Consumers first order via the Starbucks app, then await their cup with glee.

It doesn't make financial sense for a single cup of Joe, but if co-workers add drinks to the order and share the fee, the new service is definitely a time saver, and saves you from braving winter weather for your caffeine fix.

Right now, only select Starbucks locations in Seattle are participating in Wednesday's delivery launch.

Based on the program's success, new locations in larger cities will soon follow.

To keep up with their competition, Dunkin Donuts is now testing mobile ordering and delivery as well, also for a fee.

Like Starbucks, their delivery service is only offered in select cities outside of Oklahoma for now.
