LAS VEGAS (KSNV) – A family in Las Vegas is grieving after a mother of four was shot to death following a road rage incident on Thursday night.
Investigators say 44-year-old Tammy Meyers was teaching her 14-year-old daughter how to drive in a parking lot of a nearby school on Thursday night.
At the end of the lesson, Meyers took over and almost collided with another vehicle.
There was a verbal argument between Meyers and the driver of a four-door gray sedan.
Authorities say the driver followed Meyers home and shot her several times in her driveway.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was taken off life support just after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
“Last Friday, I had a wife. I don’t have one now,” said Robert Meyers, Tammy’s husband. “I bought my wife Valentine’s Day flowers for the last time today, because I buy them every year for her. And I can’t do that no more because of this senseless act.”
