Stillwater victims taken to OU Medical Center, 2 year old dies

OKLAHOMA CITY-Eight victims hurt in the crash in Stillwater were brought here to OU medical trauma center. Three adults and four children remain hospitalized.

An 8th patient who was transported, a 2-year old, has died as a result of injuries sustained during the morning tragedy in Stillwater.

This brings the total dead to 4.

The eight brought here were flown in by medical helicopter.

Some of them were brought in here for initial trauma, stabilized, and then moved to  the children’s hospital.

Spokesperson for OU medical  Vallery Brown says their conditions range from good to critical.

Brown says the number of patients brought here  l is an early number and that there could be more patients transferred here as the night goes on depending on their condition.

This is a level 1 trauma center. Which means those with the most serious injuries are brought here. That is why the hospital spokesperson says it wouldn’t be unusual to get more patients from the crash  because of  the many different specialist they have including pediatric specialists.
