MINNESOTA-The father of a nine-year-old boy who snuck on a plane from Minnesota to Las Vegas says he repeatedly tried and failed to get help for his son’s behavior problems.

The father held a news conference Wednesday with a sweatshirt wrapped around his face to conceal his identity.

The father says the family thought the boy had gone out to do a household chore last week when he disappeared.
