Study: Americans are the most generous when it comes to tipping

A new study shows Americans are the top tippers in the world.

TripAdvisor found that 60% of Americans say they always tip while on vacation.

Germans come in second with 49%, and Brazilians at 33%.

56% of the Americans surveyed think tipping is expected, while more than 30% say they’ve left a tip despite poor service.

Who do Americans tip the most?

Most of the people polled said restaurant staff.

Next, taxi drivers, bell men, and room service.

So, who tips the worst?

The French and Italians take that title, according to TripAdvisor.
