Say “goodbye” to the snow and ice, Oklahoma!

Warming temps and mostly sunny skies will continue the snow and ice melt today.

If that doesn’t get rid of the frozen stuff, tonight’s rain will do the trick.

Clouds will increase today ahead of our next storm system.

Rain will move into southwestern OK late this evening and spread northeast overnight.

As temperatures near the freezing mark near sunrise, rain may briefly transition to freezing rain/drizzle.

Scattered light rain will continue Friday and taper off by Friday evening as the system slides east.

A cold front will drop temps to the 30s for Saturday with wind chills in the 20s.

Sunday will be the outdoor pick of the weekend with mostly sunny skies and temps in the 40’s and 50’s.

The warming trend will continue through Thursday, peaking with temps in the 60s!

An arctic front will move through next Friday drastically dropping temperatures and bringing a quick burst of snow.

Stay tuned for updates.
