OKLAHOMA CITY – As the snow moved out of the state, Thursday’s sunshine helped melt that winter precipitation.

High temperatures reached the low 40s for central Oklahoma, but things will warm up slightly for your Friday.

On Thursday night, temperatures will be below normal but it won’t be as cold as Thursday morning.

Temperatures will be in the 50s on Friday, which will be paired with a lot of sunshine.

That sunshine is expected to stick around for the next week, with six out of seven days being above average.

If you have outdoor chores to tend to, this weekend will be beautiful.

On Saturday, sunshine will be paired with 60 degree temperatures across the state.

Don’t forget to spring forward one hour before you go to bed Saturday night!

It will be much of the same on Sunday with temperatures in the 60s.

Temperatures will climb to the mid-70s by the middle of next week!
