Banking on your parents to help pay for that college education?

It appears fewer are forking over the funds.

According to a “New Discover Student Loans Survey” of 1,000 adults in 2013, 81% of parents say they’d help pay.

But now that number is about 77%.

16% of families don’t plan on contributing anything.

Most parents say they want to help but can’t because they’re concerned about their own finances.

About 15% of parents believe college students should pay for every dime of tuition.
