NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – A suspect is in custody after a chase in the metro Tuesday morning.
Oklahoma City police say an SUV with a GPS tracker was stolen out of Norman and ended up in Oklahoma City.
An Oklahoma City police officer spotted the SUV just before 8 a.m. and a chase ensued.
Officers terminated the pursuit as it went into Moore and continued to get location updates from the GPS tracker.
The suspect then traveled southbound into Norman and bailed on foot near Blue Jay Rd. and 82 Ave. SE in Norman.
He was taken into custody without incident.
What led up to the pursuit is unknown at this time.
The suspect’s name has not yet been released.
