TULSA, Okla. —
Tulsa police have arrested a suspect on a first-degree murder complaint for fatally shooting an 18-year-old man at a crowded nightclub on the city’s north side.
Damion Cooper turned himself in Friday after seeing himself in news reports, police said.
He’s been jailed without bond on the murder complaint and also is accused of four counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and firearms possession.
No information for Cooper about an attorney was listed in Tulsa jail records.
Last weekend, the 18-year-old victim was killed at a club known as The Spot, where some 300 hundred people gathered the night of the shooting.
