‘Suspicious death’ being investigated by Norman Police

NORMAN, Okla. – Police in Norman are searching for a man after investigating a ‘suspicious death’ Saturday morning.

Officials responded to the 1800 block of Twisted Oaks Drive around 8:30 a.m. in reference to a welfare check. According to police, once on scene officers located a deceased female victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Charles Curtis “Kurt” Hornback. Hornback is a person of interest and is wanted in connection with the female’s death.

Hornback is described as a white male, 6 feet 5 inches tall, 250 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.

Hornback could be driving a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, with the Oklahoma license plate ADP147, a 1992 white Chevrolet 1500 Truck with the Oklahoma license plate 126JTU, or a 2001 white Chevrolet 1500 truck with the Oklahoma license plate DCR766.

Hornback is believed to be armed and dangerous. If he is found, do not approach him, call 911 immediately.
