Teen arrested after house party gets out of control

HARRAH, Okla. – An Oklahoma teen was arrested after a house party got out of control.

Police say they were informed about a house party in the 2200 block of Copperridge Lane in Harrah, Oklahoma on April 12,

When they arrived, officers say they saw empty cans and bottles of alcohol in the yard.

They also say an intoxicated teen stumbled out of the back door of the house.

Fifteen underage kids were inside the home, according to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert McCord, 18, was arrested under the state’s Social Host law for providing alcohol to minors.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone that in Oklahoma, there is a law that allows authorities to arrest people who host parties where underage drinking is happening.
