LINCOLN PARK, N. J. (CNN) – An 18-year-old high school senior who recently sued her parents announced that she will be attending a private university on scholarship.

Rachel Canning made international headlines after she moved out of her parents’ home and then sued them for support, tuition for her private high school and living expenses.

Canning dropped her lawsuit last month after a judge denied her request for living expenses.

She then moved back in with her parents.

According to CNN, Canning posted on her Facebook page that she will attend Western New England University on a $56,000 scholarship.

The post read, “Decision made. WNE U class of 2018 BME Major w/ 56,000$ scholarship.”
