PLANO, Texas – A Texas man is behind bars after he allegedly killed his girlfriend and posted bloody photos from the scene to Facebook.

Authorities say Kenneth Alan Amyx, 45, is facing a murder charge after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, Jennifer Streit-Spears, 43, to death inside their Plano apartment.

After the brutal stabbing, officials say Amyx uploaded pictures from the gruesome scene to Facebook, with the caption, “Please pray for us and love you all.”

When police arrived, officers found Streit-Spears dead inside the apartment.

Amyx was found alive with knife wounds which appear to have been self-inflicted.

The man was arrested after being treated at a local hospital.

He was booked into jail with a bond set at $600,000.

He is also facing charges for indecency with a child and continuous sex abuse of a child under 14.
