KERRVILLE, Texas – A Texas boy is fighting for his life after suffering first and second-degree burns across his body.

Family members tell FOX 29 that 10-year-old Kayden Culp was playing in a field with two other children when his injuries occurred.

Kayden’s mother believes her son was intentionally doused with gasoline and set on fire.

Authorities have not gone as far as to say his injuries were intentional.

Instead, a Kerrville spokesperson says children were playing when they started a fire and Kayden was burned.

At this point, Kayden remains on life support while doctors try to stabilize him.
