There’s a post circulating on Facebook that claims it links to a video message that Robin Williams made before his death.

It’s a scam — so don’t click on it!

Users are asked to click on a link and then share a video.  There is no video.

According to Symantec, users are instead taken to a fake BBC News website and asked to install an application on their computer or fill out a survey.

Scammers generate money for the completion of surveys and file downloads, says Symantec.

Symantec says the video  has been shared over 24 million times on Facebook.

Security experts say don’t click on a URL from a strange domain name and be skeptical of links shared by Facebook friends.
