Three Oklahomans arrested after water rescue on Lake Eufaula

LAKE EUFAULA, Okla. — Three people were arrested after they were rescued from Lake Eufaula Saturday.

Police say the three were reported lost and stranded in a canoe on Lake Eufaula near the Carlton Landing around 11:09 p.m.

Trooper Jeremy Tolman found the three in the canoe in the Ski Run area of Carlton Landing, and took them to safety.

Police say the three people were intoxicated, so they were arrested.

All three subjects were transported to the Pittsburg County Jail.
