OKLAHOMA CITY – As the last seconds ticked off the clock during Monday night’s Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s fate was sealed.
Despite being up by double digits in the second quarter, the Golden State Warriors roared back to capture the championship and make it to the NBA Finals.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Thunder boarded a plane to head back home to the Sooner State.
In the past, fans have waited for hours at the airport to welcome the team back to Oklahoma, even in to the early hours of the morning.
