OKLAHOMA CITY – Toy submarines surfaced in Oklahoma City, part of the fun and festivities at Super Submarine Sunday.

The toy subs were sent racing down the Riversport Rapids as a fundraiser for the Holiday River Parade.

The grand prize winner, the first sub to cross the finish line, wins a trip for two to Memphis to see the Thunder play the Grizzlies.

Second prize was a trip to New Orleands to see the Saints play. There were numerous other prizes, as well.

The race – presented by the Bricktown Rotary Club and sponsored by KFOR-TV, iHeart Media and VI Marketing and Branding – featured the sponsored toy submarines racing down the rapids.

The USS Oklahoma City Base of United States Submarine Veterans also supported the event.
