One killed in rollover wreck in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY- Investigators say a deadly rollover wreck that claimed the life of one person was simply a tragic accident.

Around 11 a.m. on Monday, emergency crews were called to an accident near N.E. 122nd St. and Broadway.

Bob Moore Chopper 4 is over the scene where a Porsche and an SUV collided on southbound Broadway.

Officials say the driver of the Porsche accidentally drove into oncoming traffic.

Investigators believe she was attempting to go south on the Broadway Extension but missed the on ramp.

Instead, she went north on the off ramp and ended up going north in the southbound lanes.

When she realized what she had done, police say she attempted a U-turn and was t-boned by the GMC SUV.

Police say they believe this is simply a tragic accident.

Traffic was backed up for miles, but crews attempted to divert cars at Memorial Rd.

Southbound Broadway was shut down at Memorial and exit ramps off of the Kilpatrick Turnpike were also closed.

On Monday afternoon, police identified the victim as 47-year-old Lisa Berger.
