OKLAHOMA CITY — Firefighters were put to work Monday as grass fires burned throughout the metro.

A grass fire near NW 150th has slowed traffic on Portland Ave. while crews work to put the blaze out.

Smoke is causing problems for drivers, so fire crews are slowing traffic from NW 178th all the way to NW 192nd.

The road isn’t 100 percent shut down, but an alternate route is recommended.
