OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is behind bars after he allegedly stole more than $6,000 worth of designer handbags at the Michael Kors outlet store.

Police say on Saturday a robbery was reported at the Michael Kors store at the Outlet Shoppes on Reno Ave. in Oklahoma City.

According to officers,  a security guard told them there was a broken window at the store and saw a man dressed in a dress shirt with a sweater vest and slacks with sparkly red shoes run from the outlet store.

The security guard says the suspect hopped in his black Fiat and sped away.

Police say they caught up with the suspect, Jimmy Lee Brown, 24, at a nearby TA truck stop.

Investigators say there was blood found in the store from the broken glass.

Police say Brown had a cut on his hand and his clothes had blood stains, and the purses , which totaled also had blood splattered on them.
