TULSA, Okla. – The school year just began, and many teachers are already thinking about how to help their students succeed.

On Tuesday, the Tulsa Public School District’s new superintendent created a YouTube video to encourage teachers.

Dr. Deborah Gist says she opted for a video instead of a traditional meeting because teachers wanted more time in their classrooms.

At the end of the video, Gist decided to lead several others in a dance to Silento’s “Watch Me.”
