OKLAHOMA CITY – Officials are searching for a suspect who allegedly caused a car accident on the Kilpatrick Turnpike Wedensday morning.

Around 8:15 a.m., authorities say a blue sedan was attempting to exit the Kilpatrick Turnpike when the driver decided not to exit.

When the driver of the blue sedan swerved back into traffic, another driver swerved to avoid hitting the blue sedan, officials say.

That car then crashed into a truck and the truck rolled over in the westbound lanes of the Kilpatrick Turnpike between Penn. Ave. and Hefner Pkwy.

The blue sedan that reportedly caused the accident left the scene.

Police are looking for that vehicle.

The man driving the truck was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the accident.

If you have any information that could help authorities, please call the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
