Update: All clear after gas leak in N.W. Oklahoma City causes evacuations

Update: The gas leak has been capped off.


OKLAHOMA CITY – Two buildings were evacuated Friday morning after a gas line was cut in northwest Oklahoma City.

Initial reports indicate a construction crew cut a 2-inch gas line in the 7800 block of N. May ave. around 9:45 a.m.

The nearby buildings were evacuated.

Please avoid the area until crews can cap the line.
