UTAH – Felony charges were filed Friday against two former boy scout leaders accused of knocking over an ancient rock formation in Utah.
Glenn Taylor was charged with one count of criminal mischief and David Hall was charged with aiding and assisting in criminal mischief.
The two men were allegedly involved in knocking over a formation at Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park.
Hall recorded the incident on video.
The two men claim the rock formation at Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park was in danger of falling over and injuring or killing someone.
The charges carry penalties of up to five years in prison and $5,000 dollars in fines.
