OKLAHOMA CITY – The suspects connected to two apparent armed robberies in 24 hours are now behind bars.

Early Monday morning, officers received a 911 call from a woman at an apartment complex along N.W. 36th St.

She told investigators that two men kicked in her door and robbed her at gunpoint.

The victim said one of the men was wearing a shirt, tie and a sweater vest. She says he also had a badge and a gun, which made her think that he was a police officer.

Investigators say they are looking into a similar crime that occurred over the weekend.

Fortunately, the alleged suspects were taken into custody a short time later near N.W. 23rd St. and MacArthur Blvd.

“They located a vehicle that matched that description and stopped it at N.W. 23rd and MacArthur and detained the two suspects that matched that description from the robbery on 36th St,” said Lt. Jeff Spruill, with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

While searching the vehicle, officers found two guns and security equipment.

Now, police are trying to see if there is a definite connection between the crimes.

Police say 27-year-old Anthony Justin King was arrested on charges of robbery with a firearm, possession of offensive weapon while committing a felony, false impersonation of a law enforcement officer and concealing stolen property.

Jarett Colby Dejaun Jones, 25, was arrested on charges of robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, false impersonation of law enforcement officer and concealing stolen property.
