OKLAHOMA CITY — A Sand Springs man was arrested Wednesday for possession of more than 100 images of child pornography.

Mark Scott Stewart, 46, was arrested following an investigation by Shawnee Police that started in an online chat room.

Police say Stewart went into a separate chat room with an undercover detective, where he shared hundreds of images of child pornography.

When the detective searched the IP address of the images, they were sent to a business in the 11000 block of N.E. 10th in Choctaw. The employees there led police to Stewart, who was working in Oklahoma City.

Mark Stewart was arrested for aggravated possession of child pornography and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
