USGS records 3.0 magnitude earthquake near Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. – Residents in one Oklahoma community may have felt a little bit of shaking late Saturday night.

At around 11:50 p.m., officials with the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.0 magnitude earthquake near Edmond.

The epicenter of the earthquake was about 12.4 miles southwest of Guthrie, Oklahoma; about 18.7 miles north of Oklahoma City.

News 4 has not heard of any reports of damage.
